Terms of Service

By accessing or using GuruVastu (“the Service”), available at guruvastu.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

GuruVastu is an AI-powered Vastu Shastra analysis platform for Indian home buyers, renovators, and property investors. The Service provides:

• VastuPedia — A knowledge base of Vastu Shastra patterns sourced from classical texts across 11 regional traditions
• Floor Plan Analysis — Users upload or draw floor plans and receive AI-powered Vastu compliance scores, room-by-room analysis, and remedies
• Reports — Paid detailed analysis reports with tradition-specific insights, remedies, and citations

Important: GuruVastu provides analysis for educational and informational purposes only. Our analysis is based on classical Vastu Shastra texts and traditional principles. It is not a substitute for professional architectural, structural, or engineering advice. Do not make structural changes to your property based solely on our analysis.

You may create an account using Google sign-in or email/password via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities.

Payments for analysis reports and other paid features are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹).

Refund Policy

• Technical failure: If a paid report is not delivered due to a technical error on our end, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact contactguruvastu@gmail.com with your order details.
• No refund for dissatisfaction with results: Since reports are digital products delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with the analysis results or Vastu score.
• Processing time: Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method.

Vastu Shastra knowledge is derived from ancient Indian classical texts and belongs to the public domain. However, the following are proprietary to GuruVastu and protected by applicable intellectual property laws:

• Our analysis methodology and scoring algorithms
• The user interface design and visual presentation
• VastuPedia content curation, editorial commentary, and tradition-specific interpretations
• Architectural diagrams, illustrations, and data visualisations
• Source code, APIs, and technical infrastructure

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.

When you upload floor plan images or other content to GuruVastu:

• You retain ownership of your floor plan images and uploaded content
• You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and analyse your content for the purpose of providing the Service
• We may use anonymised and aggregated data derived from analyses to improve our algorithms, generate statistics, and enhance the Service. No individually identifiable floor plans are shared publicly.
• You can delete your uploaded content at any time from your account

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service using automated tools
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our analysis engine
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or content that infringes on others' intellectual property
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our reports or analysis without written permission

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GuruVastu's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall be limited to the amount you paid to GuruVastu for the specific report or service that gave rise to the claim.

In no event shall GuruVastu be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
